March is the month when spring finally arrives after a long, cold winter and the house seems to start to come back to life. From flowers growing in the garden, to insects begining to come out of hiding, it is a great time to think about sprucing up your home for the summer months.
Begin with a solid plan. Instead of rushing in and attempting to clean everything in one go, write a simple plan of attack. I like to work on one or two rooms per day, really getting into the nitty gritty and getting everything completely clean.
Get your supplies sorted before you begin. You don’t want to have already started cleaning when you realise you have run out of a particular cleaning product, or need more bin bags. It is much better to have all your supplies ready when you start so you won’t be interrupted by running out of things when you need them.
